Well Integrity Real Time Application

Problem Statement

The main problem here is the sales engineer did not have access to real-time well integrity downhole analyzed and interpreted data, so he couldn’t respond quickly and accurately to client needs. For Schlumberger business, maintaining and building on the existing relationship with the client is critical for our services.

Project Background

We were working with Frog Design Team on developing a Well Integrity Real-Time Application which was going to allow users who were working on well integrity operations to be able better communicate and collaborate in one location, as well as bring content to the data by allowing them to comment and annotate data directly rather than just email back and forth the entire time.

I was one of the UX designers embedded at Frog Design Team at their office in Austin. I was very lucky to have these 3 months of working experience with a global design agency. We had captured the entire UX process, activities, and deliverables in order to teach not just the “what”, but also the “how” and “why”, so that the UX tools provided could be adopted and implemented in other Schlumberger UX design programs.
